Introduction to Cabolong 40mg Tablet

Cabolong 40mg Tablet contain the active ingredient Cabozantinib and are classified as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. In adults, this medication is used to treat advanced kidney cancer and locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer. It is also indicated for liver cancer when Sorafenib is no longer effective. Typically, Cabozanib is used in combination with Nivolumab for advanced kidney cancer. It is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.
Do not take Cabolong 40mg Tablet if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, or experience diarrhea. Notify your physician about any history of blood clots, significant bleeding, aneurysms, or tears in blood vessels. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, discuss your options with your doctor and use effective contraception during and for four months after treatment. For any fertility concerns, consult your physician.

Therapeutic Effects of Cabolong 40mg Tablet

It acts against a protein called receptor tyrosine kinases and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Cabolong 40mg Tablet is indicated alone or in combination with Nivolumab.

Interaction of Cabolong 40mg Tablet with other drugs

Inform your doctor about all prescribed medications, over-the-counter drugs, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you are currently taking or have taken recently. Some medications, such as antibiotics, St. John’s Wort, and Aliskiren, may interact with Cabotib 60mg Tablet and potentially cause unwanted side effects.
