These inorganic ingredients—calcium and phosphate—are naturally present in saliva. The gargle is a concentrated electrolyte solution with supersaturated calcium and phosphate ions that closely resemble human saliva. It helps restore the natural pH and electrolyte balance of saliva, maintaining the mineral integrity of the teeth.
