Bronac Injection is an antidote medication. It is used in the treatment of paracetamol overdose (when you may have taken too much paracetamol medicine). It protects your liver and helps to reduce the extent of the injury.
Bronac Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. It must be injected within 8 hours of paracetamol overdose. It can be given up to 24 hours, but medicine effective slow down when given after 24 hours of dosage overdose. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Always follow your doctor’s advice while taking this medicine.
The most common side effects of this medicine include rash, urticaria, flushing, and itching. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.

Bronac Injection is an antidote medicine that prevents serious side effects if a person has taken more than the normal or recommended amount of a medicine called paracetamol which leads to an overdose. Initially, there may be mild gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, irritability, etc. But, if left untreated, paracetamol overdose may cause serious liver damage, which may even lead to liver failure. Rarely, an excessive overdose may lead to a coma. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. Liver
Bronac Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Bronac Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Bronac Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.
Driving
Bronac Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE BRONAC INJECTION?
If you miss a dose of Bronac Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
